    Team Building at Cuihua Mountain: A Day of Adventure and Camaraderie   Last Friday, the team at Xi'an Sentian Biotech traded lab coats for outdoor gear and embarked on an energizing team-building excursion to the scenic Cuihua Mountain.  Dressed in vibrant orange-yellow interchange jacket, a symbol of our unified spirit, we gathered early at the company entrance for a group photo—kicking off the day with smiles and excitement. After a scenic drive, we arrived at the base of the mountain, where our CEO reminded everyone to prioritize safety and enjoy the journey.  With that, the five teams, led by their respective group leaders, set off on the ascent.   The climb was both challenging and invigorating.  The famous long staircase section tested our endurance, drawing collective (but good-natured) groans from the group.  While some chose to pause and rest at this point, others pushed onward, determined to reach the summit.   Leading the charge was the Apparel Group, guided by their team leader, Wei Pengfei.  Their relentless drive and teamwork earned them the honor of being the first to conquer the peak—a fantastic achievement!  Hot on their heels was Liu Yidong’s team, securing a strong second place with impressive momentum.   Not far behind, my own group claimed third place—thanks especially to our supportive team leader, who kindly carried water and snacks and kept our spirits high throughout the climb. Once all teams reached the top, we took time to enjoy the breathtaking views and capture the moment with photos, celebrating both personal and collective accomplishments.   For the descent, some opted for the thrilling slide down, while others preferred a leisurely walk, taking in Cuihua Mountain’s natural beauty at a relaxed pace.  We all reunited at the picturesque Tianchi (Heavenly Lake), where we shared a hearty lunch, reflected on the day’s adventures, and strengthened our bonds as a team.   The trip was more than just a hike—it was a reflection of Sentian’s values: perseverance, teamwork, and care for one another.  We returned feeling refreshed, connected, and motivated, ready to bring that same energy back to our work in biotechnology.

The amount of pyruvic acid groups at the end of the molecular side chain of xanthan gum has a great influence on its performance. Xanthan gum has the general properties of long-chain polymers, but it contains more functional groups than general polymers and will show unique properties under specific conditions.
